A legendary oil and gas entrepreneur, T. Boone Pickens is now on a mission to enhance U.S. energy policies to lessen the nation’s dependence on OPEC oil.
Without energy planning in place the USA owning and operating 11 aircraft carriers in the world (of 12 available) is world oil police. “[Dependency on OPEC] is the greatest transfer of wealth from one group to another in the history of mankind.” he said.
He argued "We have to get on our own resources in America.” American should go from dirty to cleaner, from expensive to abundant, and from 'theirs' to 'ours'. Finally he emphasized "Natural gas is the bridge fuel to natural gas".
